The Interindustria Knowledge Centre Foundation is organizing a one-day Local Development Hackathon on 16th June 2021 in Cered in framework of the Smart Communities 2.0 – How to be smart in the countryside? (SKHU/1902/4.1/027) project.
The main goal of the project is to support the smartness of rural settlements, including the development of “smart” communities and the implementation of knowledge transfer. A Hackathon with a specific focus on local development contributes to this goal. This one-day competition will be organized for young students and based on the use of innovative IT tools and knowledge.

Tasks include a geocaching-based treasure hunt, creating a cadastre of landscape values (Vault building) on a particular municipality using the information content of the "treasures" found, and a situational exercise on a local development problem.
