In our project entitled Smart Communities 2.0 - How to be smart in the countryside? we organise programmes in the Slovak-Hungarian border region, including Nógrád County, Banská Bystrica and Košice districts, to help rural municipalities, especially in villages, to become "smart" and to inform them about the availability of funding.
The Smart Village pilot course will present the Good Practices Manual, the Smart Database and the Compass, which are the result of the project work and offer municipalities a practical help for planning smart developments, as well as information on rural development funding sources available for smart village development ideas in the coming years.
